Hi, I’m Amna
Therapy for women who hold everything together but feel exhausted, overwhelmed and alone beneath the surface

I work with thoughtful, high-responsibility women who are used to being the steady one at work, in their families and in their communities.
From the outside, life may look well-managed. You’re capable, reliable and holding things together.
Internally, it can feel very different.
You may find yourself carrying a constant sense of pressure, thinking deeply about the needs of others, and struggling to switch off or fully settle within yourself.
At times, it can feel exhausting to keep going at the pace you do, especially when there isn’t always space for you.
Some of the women I work with are also navigating complex family dynamics, cultural expectations, or the emotional demands of parenting, including supporting neurodivergent children.
I’m an integrative psychotherapist working with adults and parents. My training includes Transactional Analysis, a therapeutic approach that helps you understand the patterns you develop in relationships, the roles you take on, and how your emotional responses have been shaped over time.
Sessions are collaborative but structured, offering a contained space to explore identity, relational patterns, early experiences and present-day pressures in a way that feels manageable and grounded.
This is not surface-level or crisis-driven therapy.
It is thoughtful, consistent work designed to help you build steadiness, clarity and a deeper understanding of yourself over time.
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we look at the underlying drivers behind reactions, relationship dynamics and the expectations you may carry so that meaningful, lasting change becomes possible.
I also take into account the wider context of your life, including culture, family expectations and community, and how these shape the way you understand yourself and your mental health.
Sessions are 50 minutes and take place weekly at the same time each week.
My fee is £75 per session.
I work with a limited number of clients to ensure depth and consistency in the work.
Therapy is an investment in understanding yourself more deeply and creating meaningful, lasting change in how you think, feel and relate — both to yourself and others.
If you’re considering therapy, the next step is to arrange a brief 15-minute consultation.
This is a space to explore what’s bringing you here and whether working together feels like the right fit for you.
You can get in touch using the form below, and I’ll respond within 1–2 working days.

Through our work together, I’ve developed a much deeper understanding of where my anxiety comes from and feel far more grounded in myself. While anxiety still shows up at times, it no longer overwhelms me in the way it once did. The impact of this work has been both lasting and meaningful."

“ Being diagnosed with ADHD as an adult left me feeling overwhelmed and unsure of how to understand myself. Therapy with Amna helped me make sense of things in a way that felt both validating and practical. I’m less critical of myself now and feel more able to manage day-to-day life without the same level of frustration. "

Through our work together, I’ve developed a much better understanding of how my mind works and feel more able to manage situations that would have previously felt overwhelming. I feel calmer and far less consumed by my thoughts.”
